   Blue Oyster Cult powstał w roku 1967, pierwszy album ekipa z Nowego Yorku wydała pięć lat później w składzie:  Eric Bloom – vocals, rhythm guitar, keyboards, Albert Bouchard – drums, vocals, Joe Bouchard – bass, vocals, Allen Lanier – rhythm guitar, keyboards,  Donald "Buck Dharma" Roeser – lead guitar, vocals. Takim sposobem rozpoczynamy rok 1972.
